Montás asegura Medina buscará hacer reforma fiscal integral
Santo Domingo, RD.- El ministro de Economía, Planificación y Desarrollo, Juan Temístocles Montás, proclamó este miércoles que en el período agosto-diciembre de este año, el presidente electo Danilo Medina buscará consenso para realizar una reforma fiscal integral con la que se recaude 140 mil millones de pesos en 2013, para pagar parte de los servicios de la deuda del Estado y destinar el 4% PIB a educación.
Montás ese monto de recursos replantaría casi el 40% del Presupuesto General del Estado de 2013.
“Es inminente el hecho de que habrá una reforma fiscal integral que tendrá la característica especial de discutir la calidad del gasto que realice el gobierno, es decir, que el gobierno tendrá que rediseñar el gasto público”, exclamó.
Indicó que uno de los desafíos que tiene en agenda el próximo Gobierno de Medina, es consensuar entre los trabajadores, la sociedad civil y los empresarios, para elaborar una reforma tributaria que sea sobre la base de la integración de todos los actores de la sociedad dominicana.
Entrevistado en el programa “El Despertador”, del Grupo SIN, que se transmiten por Antena Latina, canal 7, Montás dijo que Medina tendrá que destinar, también, más recursos a los sectores de Agricultura y Turismo, para desarrollar estos renglones y generar más empleos formales que transformen la economía nacional.
Refirió que el presidente electo ha hecho un compromiso para aumentar el ingreso de turistas al país a 10 millones, y que para lograr eso tiene que destinar más recursos en promoción e infraestructuras.
