El jefe de las FARC insta a un diálogo «de cara al país» y «sin mentiras»
Bogotá.- El jefe de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), alias «Timochenko», instó este lunes a entablar un diálogo «de cara al país» y «sin mentiras», en un comunicado difundido en la página de internet de esa guerrilla.
«Nos interesa tratar en una hipotética mesa de conversaciones. De cara al país. Poner en cuestión las privatizaciones, la desregulación, la libertad absoluta de comercio e inversión, la depredación ambiental, la democracia de mercado, la doctrina militar», señaló el máximo comandante de las FARC.
«Timochenko» o «Timoleón Jiménez», cuyo verdadero nombre es Rodrigo Echeverry Londoño, reemplazó en la máxima jefatura del grupo rebelde a Guillermo León Sáenz, alias «Alfonso Cano», quien murió en una operación especial de las autoridades el 4 de noviembre de 2011 en un paraje montañoso del departamento del Cauca (suroeste).
A los pocos días, el llamado «secretariado» o máxima jerarquía rebelde designó a «Timochenko» como su nuevo guía.
El jefe guerrillero denuncia en el escrito también que se registra un despliegue de tropas en la región del Catatumbo, en Norte de Santander, departamento fronterizo con Venezuela, territorio en el que las autoridades colombianas creen que se localizan campamentos rebeldes.
«Timochenko» señala que las tropas quieren garantizar la llegada de empresas multinacionales para sembrar palma de aceite y explotar minerales, y denuncia que el Ejército Nacional «se acerca a las comunidades indígenas del Catatumbo simulando brigadas de ayuda».
Sin embargo, añade, «lo que habrá de sobrevenir será la persecución infame y el destierro de los indígenas Barí, cuyos asentamientos se encuentran en la mira de las grandes compañías transnacionales que vienen por el carbón, el petróleo y los agrocarburantes».
En el mensaje divulgado este lunes, el comandante guerrillero pide al presidente colombiano, Juan Manuel Santos, «retomar la agenda que quedó pendiendo en El Caguán», en las selvas del sur del país, escenario de un fallido proceso con el Gobierno de Andrés Pastrana, entre 1998 y 2002.
Londoño Echeverry recuerda a Santos que entonces el hoy presidente «hizo parte» de ese Gobierno (de Pastrana) y «se negó a abordarla (la agenda) diez años atrás», con lo que selló una condena «a todos a esta Troya sangrienta que sin toma de Ilión se apresta a repetirse».
De estos «y similares asuntos, con participación activa de los afectados, nos interesa tratar en una hipotética mesa de conversaciones», indica el mensaje del comandante rebelde.
Al concluir el escrito, «Timochenko» considera que siempre en las FARC se negarán a «aceptar la imposición de verdades absolutas» y puntualiza que «este conflicto no tendrá solución mientras no sean atendidas nuestras voces». EFE
