Fundación Zayas realiza Gran Cruzada 2012 por los Niños de Haina
Bajos de Haina, RD.- En el marco de su programa barrial “La Cultura por los Pueblos” la Fundación Cultural Humanitaria Antonio Zayas realizó una “Gran Cruzada 2012 por los Niños de Haina” en el Polideportivo de este municipio de San Cristóbal, donde decenas de infantes recibieron mascotas y antigripales entregados por Félix Antonio Cruz Jiminián, presidente de la Fundación doctor Cruz Jiminián.
La actividad que fue bendecida por Yolanda Adames de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Últimos Días, incluyó la presentación de la cantante infantil Mariendiz Hernández, y la Banda de Música Infantil de la escuela Juan Pablo Duarte, del sector Villa Penca, que patrocina el Despacho de la Primera Dama.
También, presentaron el Grupo de Danza Moderna de la Casa de la Cultura de la Alcadia de Haina, dirigido por la profesora Gladis Castro; el Grupo de Flauta de la Escuela Libre y la Casa de la Cultura de la Alcaldía de Haina, que dirige la profesora Dania González. La cantante de baladas Awilda Díaz realizó su interpretación de manera magistral concitando la admiración de los asistentes a la actividad.
El presidente de la Fundación Cultural Humanitaria, Antonio Zayas, entregó una placa de reconocimiento a Cruz Jiminián, por el apoyo incondicional que ha dado a la niñez y a los envejecientes en la República Dominicana.
Las demás placas las recibieron Aurora Pimentel Ramos, encargada del Programa Progresando en Familia de Haina del Despacho de la Primera Dama, por sus aportes al desarrollo social y cultural de este municipio; a la licenciada Yvelisse Laureano Morbán, por sus aportes a Haina a través del Patronato Pro desarrollo Comunitario, y al licenciado Alberto Concepción, ex alcalde del municipio Los Bajos de Haina, quien logró avances extraordinarios en materia cultural en esta comunidad.
La mesa de honor en la “Gran Cruzada 2012 por los Niños de Haina” estuvo integrada por el presidente de la fundación, señor Antonio Zayas, el doctor Félix Antonio Cruz Jiminián, el empresario Wilmen Ramírez, Eduvigen Montero, y el coordinador de las Juntas de Vecinos “Santiago Castro” del municipio Haina, Julio Pichardo.
Asistieron como invitados especiales Lázaro Monteagudo, músico ejemplar de la comunidad y Yahari Jáquez, “El Negro Conga”, este último integrante de la Fundación Cultural Humanitaria Antonio Zayas.
