Ramírez busca regresar a las Grandes Ligas
Redacción (EEUU).- El veterano pelotero dominicano Manny Ramírez tramitó su documentación para solicitar un regreso a las Grandes Ligas.
De acuerdo con fuentes allegadas a las mayores, el dominicano busca reinstalarse como jugador del béisbol profesional.
Ramírez se encuentra ante una suspensión de 50 juegos si regresa, y no de 100 como inicialmente se le había sancionado, de acuerdo con la fuente.
El dominicano ya cumplió una suspensión de 50 en la temporada del 2009 cuando jugaba para los Dodgers de Los Ángeles, pero dio un segundo positivo a sustancias prohibidas en abril pasado durante los entrenamientos con los Rays de Tampa Bay, y decidió la retirada.
La misma fuente indicó que todos los equipos ya fueron notificados del regreso de Ramírez y de su suspensión de 50 juegos.
Ramírez podría firmar con cualquier equipo, participar en los entrenamientos de primavera y cumplir su sanción de 50 juegos. EFE
