Club de Autos Antiguos y Clásicos de RD estará el domingo en Baní
Santo Domingo, RD.- Los integrantes del Club de Autos Antiguos y Clásicos de la República Dominicana (CAACRD) estarán exhibiendo sus vehículos en la ciudad de Baní, provincia Peravia, este domingo 8 de enero. Harán su primera gala a las 10:00 de la mañana, en la explanada del Centro Cultural Perelló y luego de las 2:00 de la tarde, en el parque central Marcos A. Cabral.
Los directivos del CAACRD informaron a la prensa nacional, deportiva y social que los autos iniciarán su recorrido desde el peaje de la autopista 6 de Noviembre, a partir de las 9:00 de la mañana, siguiendo por la carretera Sánchez, para llegar a Baní. En ese trayecto, los lugareños de San Cristóbal podrán observar dichos autos de la era automotriz de 1930 hasta 1970.
El paseo caravana de los coleccionistas de autos antiguos y clásicos, estará encabezado por Jacinto Pichardo Vicioso, Rafael García Matos y César Medrano, presidente, secretario y tesorero, respectivamente, así como su asesor, el pasado presidente Quirilio Vilorio.
Los residentes de San Cristóbal y de la ciudad de Máximo Gómez (Baní) podrán ver automóviles de principio del siglo pasado, como por ejemplo un Ford tipo A del año 1930, y una gran representación de vehículos de los años 50, 60 y 70, con preponderancia de la gran era automotriz norteamericana con la famosa línea Ford, Chevrolet, GM, entre otras, y con una variedad de modelos como Mustang, Camaro, Impala, Nova y otros.
En el Centro Cultural Perelló (CCP), creado por la empresa cafetera identificada como Industrias Banilejas, Compañía por Acciones (CxA), fundado por don Manuel de Jesús Perelló (fallecido), serán recibidos por su presidente Rafael Perelló; Ismael Díaz Melo, director general; Julia Castillo, gerente de arte y cultura y Licelott Báez Perelló, administradora del CCP, entre otros.
En el CCP estarán en horario de 10:00 de la mañana a 12:00 del mediodía, luego de las 2:00 hasta las 5:00 de la tarde, pernoctarán en la calle peatonal frente al parque central Marcos A. Cabral, en el Ayuntamiento Municipal y la Catedral Nuestra Señora de Regla.
Teniendo de anfitrión al alcalde Nelson Camilo Landestoy, sus munícipes con las familias de los pueblos aledaños a Baní.
Para la ocasión fueron invitados los legisladores, diputados Orfelina Liseloth Arias Medrano de Nin y Milcíades Marino Franjul Pimentel, Santo Ynilcio Ramírez Bethancourt y el senador Wilton Guerrero.
Entre otros invitados, está el general de brigada jefe de la Policía Nacional en Baní, Ramón de la Cruz Martínez y la Unión Deportiva de la provincia Peravia.
