ANJE afirma inminente necesidad el debate presidencial 2012
Santo Domingo, RD.- El presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Jóvenes Empresarios (ANJE), Manuel Cabra, abogó porque los candidatos de los partidos mayoritarios finalmente acepten de manera formal su participación en el “Debate Presidencial ANJE 2012”.
Cabral resaltó que “los debates electorales representan una oportunidad importante para que los candidatos postulantes compartan con la sociedad las propuestas contenidas en sus respectivos planes de gobierno, lo cual fortalece el desarrollo de la democracia dominicana.”
Indicó que ANJE lleva más de una década haciendo este esfuerzo porque entiende necesario que los candidatos presenten de manera clara y precisa sus propuestas de gobierno, y estén dispuestos a discutirlas con sus principales opositores. Añade que en varias ocasiones ANJE ha celebrado debates municipales y congresuales, sin embargo, “entendemos que es momento de que los candidatos presidenciales de los partidos mayoritarios participen en esta iniciativa que no busca más que fortalecer la democracia dominicana y conocer la línea de pensamiento de los aspirantes a la Presidencia”.
Cabral agregó que, “la participación de Hipólito Mejía y Danilo Medina en el debate que estamos coordinando, será el elemento determinante y diferente de estas elecciones, y además representa un mecanismo eficaz para fomentar el voto consciente de la ciudadanía.”
Refirió que ANJE exhorta a toda la sociedad y los Partidos Políticos, el apoyo correspondiente, al entender que el debate ordenado de las ideas es un elemento esencial en el camino para fortalecer el nivel de maduración de la política dominicana.
