RD fue sede seminario “Agentes de Comercio Exterior y sus Desafíos”
Santo Domingo, RD.- Con la participación de expertos nacionales e internacionales del intercambio transfronterizo se desarrolló el pasado fin de semana en la capital dominicana el seminario “Agentes de Comercio Exterior y sus Desafíos Tecnológicos ante un Mundo Globalizado”.
El evento, auspiciado por la Asociación Dominicana de Agentes de Aduanas (ADAA), permitió que los participantes conozcan cada día más los temas relacionados a las oportunidades del comercio en el marco de las alianzas entre los países que participan en Acuerdos de Libre Comercio, las sustancias químicas en el comercio exterior y las acciones modernas para mejorar la distribución física en los puertos y aeropuertos.
Ana Elvira Mera, presidenta de ADAA, dijo que el programa del seminario internacional también incluyó la discusión de temas como: la observancia de las leyes de Propiedad Intelectual en las Aduanas, la Quinta Enmienda, los avances tecnológicos y la seguridad en la integración de los agentes aduaneros en el comercio exterior.
El conclave inició con una magistral conferencia del subdirector técnico de la dirección de aduanas, Eduardo Rodríguez, con el tema “El Rol de la Aduana en la Logística de Distribución Física de Mercancía”.
Además de Eduardo expuso el subdirector de tecnología Heriberto Minaya, quién agotó el tema de “Los Avances Tecnológicos en el Mundo de las Aduanas”. En el mismo orden disertó también el licenciado Gabino José Polanco, quién trató la “Quinta Enmienda”.
En el evento participó y expuso el mexicano José Luis Alva, con el tema: “Seguridad y Facilitación en la Integración de los Agentes en el Comercio Exterior”, al igual que el ingeniero químico de las Fuerzas Armadas Dominicana (FAD), Mayor José A. Torres Parra, resaltando los “Procedimientos y Requisitos de Importación de las Sustancias Químicas Controladas por el ministerio de las Fuerzas Armadas”.
“El señor Carlos Atiles tuvo a su cargo la exposición sobre la “Observancia de Propiedad Intelectual en Aduanas y Gabino José Polanco habló de la Quinta Enmienda” y Miguelina Estévez, quien expuso: “Oportunidad de Negocios en el Marco de los Acuerdos de Libre Comercio con Estados Unidos, el Cariforum y la Unión Europea”.
Al evento internacional participaron México, Panamá, Venezuela y la República Dominicana y el mismo contó con una amplia participación de funcionarios y técnicos de la Dirección general de Aduanas al igual que de las empresas importadoras y exportadora del país.
