Ministra de la Mujer dice Medina puede nombrar gabinete que quiera y PLD lo respaldará
Santo Domingo, RD.- La ministra de la Mujer Alejandrina Germán aseguró que el presidente electo Danilo Medina puede nombrar el gabinete que él quiera y el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD) le dará su respaldo total.
Germán quien es miembro del Comité Político del PLD dijo que ese respaldo será invariable independientemente de que Medina no tome a ningún dirigente del ese alto organismo en la conformación de su equipo gubernamental.
Agregó que lo que más le debe importar a los peledeÍstas no es si se le designa en alguna posición, sino que Danilo haga un buen gobierno que, tal y como él prometió en la campaña, continué las cosas que están bien de la actual gestión, corrija las malas y hagas cosas nuevas.
Entrevistada en el programa D´AGENDA que cada domingo se difunde por Telesistema Canal 11, Germán reiteró que el peledeísta formado por Juan Bosch, y en el que ella cree, no participa en política a cambio de un empleo.
Recordó que tanto Leonel Fernández como Danilo Medina al participar en sus campañas presidenciales no han establecido acuerdo alguno con ningún dirigente del partido para que salgan hacer proselitismo a cambio de un decreto.
“Por lo tanto, igual que ha pasado con los gobiernos del compañero Leonel, el compañero Danilo puede designar el gabinete que él quiera, y aunque dentro de los funcionarios no estemos ningún miembro del Comité Político, el apoyo del PLD será total e incondicional, en ese sentido, para el nuevo mandatario”, precisó.
La alta dirigente peledeísta dijo que no tiene ninguna duda de que Medina hará un excelente gobierno porque tiene formación política y académica, capacidad y experiencia de Estado, que son cualidades indispensables para que un jefe de Estado sea exitoso.
Germán también defendió la gestión de ocho años del presidente Fernández precisando que en cualquier punto de la geografía nacional hay una obra que exhibir construida en esta administración.
Feminicidios
En otro orden, la ministra de la Mujer lamentó que la gran mayoría de las mujeres que han sido asesinadas por su pareja, previo al hecho fatal, no habían dado parte las autoridades de las cadenas de agresiones de que habían sido objeto.
Germán volvió a mostrar su decepción por los resultados hasta ahora obtenidos del trabajo hecho por las autoridades y la sociedad civil para frenar los feminicidios.
Sin embargo, la funcionaria aclaró que la tasa de feminicidios en la República Dominicana está por debajo de la mayoría de los países de la región, aunque precisó que eso no puede ser ningún consuelo.
“Pero puedo asegura que en el caso de las mujeres que han perdido la vida a mano de su pareja, en la mayoría de los casos, no pusieron al tanto a las autoridades de los maltratos que de que estaban siendo objeto”, reiteró.
Germán atribuyó las agresiones que ejercen los hombres contra su pareja a la formación que han tenido de una sociedad machista, situación que se ha agudizado a medida en que la mujer va ocupando el espacio que le corresponde en la sociedad y a que en muchos casos está desplazando a los hombres de tareas que se suponían exclusivas de estos en años anteriores.
