Entierran restos del periodista Andrés Acevedo
Santo Domingo, RD.- Los restos del periodista Andrés Acevedo, quien falleció el pasado domingo en la clínica Rodríguez Santos de la capital, por problema de salud, fueron sepultados en el cementerio Cristo Redentor.
Acevedo, quien fue sepultado este lunes (ayer), laboró por más de 20 años en la redacción de Noti-Tiempo de Radio Cadena Comercial y en otros medios de comunicación.
Residía en la calle Primera número 116 del sector capitalino Los Peralejos, de Santo Domingo Oeste, donde fueron velados sus restos. Amigos y colegas lamentaron su fallecimiento.
El hijo mayor del periodista, Wáscar Acevedo, narró que su progenitor sintió dolores en el pecho la madrugada del viernes y que lo llevaron de inmediato al centro de salud de Los Girasoles, y luego fue trasladado a la clínica Rodríguez Santos, donde falleció. Además de Wáscar, a Andrés Acevedo le sobreviven Mildred, Fernando, David y Esther Acevedo; así como su padre José Altagracia Acevedo y sus hermanos Nena, Ediltrudes, Domingo y Thomás.
El director de Noti-Tiempo, Víctor Germán Pérez y sus campaneros de redacción, lamentaron el deceso del comunicador y resaltaron sus virtudes y cualidades morales y humanas.
Acevedo se formó en el Instituto Dominicano de Periodismo, y durante su trayectoria profesional laboró en Radio ABC, el canal 10 del Cable y en la redacción de Noti-Tiempo, su último lugar de trabajo, en donde estaba de licencia médica cuando ocurrió su deceso.
