Comunidades de Sánchez Ramírez piquetean Ministerio de Obras Públicas
Santo Domingo, RD.- La Junta de Desarrollo Comunitaria y decenas de organizaciones religiosas, deportivas, culturales y obreras de los distritos municipales Comedero Arriba y Caballero realizaron en la mañana de este jueves una “marcha piquete” frente al Ministerio de Obras Publicas en demanda del arreglo de la carretera que une esas localidades con el municipio de Fantino.
La actividad estuvo encabezada por el sacerdote Ramón Ramos (Nino Ramos), quien en compañía de cientos de personas portando “pancartas y entonando consignas”, marcharon hasta la puerta principal del Ministerio de Obras Públicas en Santo Domingo para exigir al arreglo de la vía.
El padre Ramos expresó que los moradores de esas comunidades, ubicada en la parte sureste de la provincia Sánchez Ramírez, están cansados de solicitar públicamente a Obras Públicas, al ministerio ésta institución, así como al presidente Leonel Fernández, que dispongan la reconstrucción de esa carretera.
Después de varias horas de espera en la afuera de la institución, una comisión de 15 personas fue recibida por la ingeniera Nadia Múñoz, viceministra de Obras Públicas, quien acordó reunirse con los manifestantes mañana viernes a la 2:00 del mediodía en la comunidad Caballero de Cotuí, para luego iniciar la obra.
En la protestas estuvieron presente José René Céspedes, director de la Junta Municipal Comedero Arriba; Antonio Ureña, sindico de Caballero; Cristián Ortiz, presidente de los Padres y Amigos de la Escuela; Francisco Espino, dirigente comunitario de la Zona; Pablo Marte, presidente de la Confederación de Juntas de Vecinos, entre otras personalidades.
