ANJE decepcionada con la Ruptura del Acuerdo con el FMI
Santo Domingo, RD.- En ocasión al anuncio oficial, sobre la finalización del acuerdo Stand by con el Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI), la Asociación Nacional de Jóvenes Empresarios (ANJE), declaró como frustrante la ruptura de este acuerdo, por darse en un momento en el que habría sido conveniente un control y monitoreo estricto de las finanzas públicas ante los comicios electorales del próximo mes de mayo.
El presidente de ANJE, Manuel Cabral F., agregó que, “si bien es cierto que el acuerdo con el FMI requería la implementación de medidas que podían considerarse como poco populares, en ANJE consideramos que son medidas necesarias para lograr un saneamiento de las finanzas públicas”.
En este sentido, Cabral expresó que “el gobierno ha anunciado la firma de un Acuerdo de post-monitoreo para dar seguimiento a la aplicación de políticas económicas y fiscales. No obstante entendemos que esta medida no genera un compromiso por parte del gobierno ante la sociedad y este organismo internacional”.
ANJE llama a reflexión a las autoridades para que el manejo de las finanzas públicas sea prudente, especialmente en este proceso electoral.
