ANJE rechaza se apliquen “parches tributarios”
Santo Domingo, RD.- El presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Jóvenes Empresarios (ANJE), Manuel Cabral, en referencia a las declaraciones del ministro de Economía, Planificación y Desarrollo, Temístocles Montás, sobre cambios tributarios propuestos por el Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI), declaró que la institución rechaza que se adopte una Reforma que no conlleve la reestructuración integral de las finanzas públicas.
Cabral expresó que, “ANJE considera de alta preocupación cualquier propuesta meramente recaudatoria, que se limite a la creación de nuevos tributos o aumentos de los existentes, sin modificar la composición y calidad del gasto público. La reforma a la que aspira el sector privado debe ser integral, e iniciar con una reestructuración del gasto público y una mayor transparencia en su ejecución; continuando con la corrección de las distorsiones tributarias existentes y la adopción de medidas que promuevan la formalización de la economía.”
Indicó que ANJE reitera que la sociedad dominicana y los sectores productivos nacionales no toleran más “parches y enmiendas” a la estructura tributaria, los cuales han aumentado la carga impositiva de manera distorsionante en términos de eficiencia y equidad. En este orden, Cabral resaltó que, “ANJE aboga por una revisión y reestructuración tributaria participativa y transparente, que promueva la competitividad del sector productivo nacional.”
El gremio empresarial entiende que el Partido que resulte electo en los próximos comicios presidenciales deberá ser cauteloso en la adopción de cualquier medida de esta índole. ANJE abogará porque la reforma fiscal que se realice sea integral y debidamente consensuada.
