Banco Popular y la AIRD capacitarán Mipymes
Santo Domingo, RD.-El Banco Popular Dominicano anunció un programa para capacitar a Micro, Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas (Mipymes) e impulsar la competitividad del sector.
Este «Programa de Fortalecimiento Empresarial PYME» estará a cargo de la Asociación de Industrias de la República Dominicana (AIRD) y será iniciado el nueve de febrero. Cubre los ejes esenciales de la formación empresarial: elaboración de planes de negocio, estructuración de empresas, plan eficaz de mercadeo o políticas de finanzas, entre otros.
La iniciativa, en la que el Popular ha invertido la suma de RD$3 millones, beneficiará a más de 1,700 Mipymes de todo el territorio nacional. Al acto de presentación de este programa, celebrado este jueves (ayer) de febrero en la Torre Popular, acudieron como invitados representantes de más de un centenar de pequeñas y medianas compañías de los sectores comercio, servicios, manufactura, construcción, tecnología, turismo, industria y farmacéutica.
Según apuntó el vicepresidente ejecutivo sénior de Negocios del Banco Popular, Christopher Paniagua, la importancia de este programa de capacitación radica en la relevancia y dinamismo del sector PYME en la economía nacional: “Las ventas de las PYME dominicanas suponen el 58% del total, contribuyendo con cerca del 45% al Producto Interno Bruto nacional.
Además, generan más de 1 millón y medio de empleos, representando aproximadamente el 44% de la población económicamente activa”, resaltó el ejecutivo bancario.
En opinión de Paniagua, este programa formativo no sólo mejorará la calidad de las compañías participantes, sino que potenciará también el emprendimiento y el papel de las pequeñas y medianas empresas como entidades responsables en la sociedad.
En representación de la AIRD, su presidenta Ligia Bonetti, quien destacó cómo la formación es un “elemento imprescindible para la competitividad y el fortalecimiento de las empresas industriales, por lo que con este acuerdo ponemos a disposición de este segmento de clientes del Banco Popular las herramientas necesarias para desarrollar capacidades en diversas áreas de negocios, a partir de una formación integral”.
Tres ejes de capacitación
El Programa de Fortalecimiento Empresarial Pymes surge a raíz del convenio de colaboración formalizado con la AIRD y está dividido en tres grandes ejes: Programa de elaboración de planes de negocios, Dirección estratégica para Pymes y talleres especializados de fortalecimiento.
El asesor de la AIRD, Juan Francisco Mejía, dijo que se trata de un programa teórico-práctico, donde las empresas participantes recibirán un plan de negocios completo a la medida de sus necesidades, así como entrenamiento y actualización de sus conocimientos de gestión.
La metodología de formación se impartirá a través de un tutor, que expondrá casos de éxito como base para obtener un mejor aprendizaje. El curso completo tiene una duración total de 3 meses.
Los tres ejes de capacitación del programa están dirigidos a empresas de comercio, de servicio, de construcción, agroindustriales y ganaderas, así como también a empresas de manufactura y turismo.
En el evento estuvieron presentes además por parte del Banco Popular su vicepresidente ejecutivo de Negocios Empresariales e Internacionales, señor René Grullón, junto a los vicepresidentes de Negocios, señores Tamayo Belliard y Austria Gómez, y el vicepresidente de Mercadeo, señor Francisco Ramírez. En representación de la AIRD, acudieron también la vicepresidenta de la asociación, señora Circe Almánzar, y el ejecutivo señor Carlos Rodríguez.
