MIC entrega donación para reconstrucción de viviendas en Barahona
Santo Domingo, RD.- El Ministerio de Industria y Comercio (MIC) entregó una donación de madera y zinc, para ser destinada a la reparación y reconstrucción de viviendas que fueron afectadas por el paso de la tormenta tropical Isaac por la provincia de Barahona.
El ministro del MIC, José Del Castillo Saviñón, dispuso la entrega de dos mil unidades de madera y mil planchas de zinc, con la finalidad de contribuir a que familias humildes, cuyas viviendas fueron afectadas por los efectos del fenómeno atmosférico, que azotó al sur del país, puedan recuperarse de la realidad que les afecta.
En nombre del ministro la donación fue entregada por el director de Compras del MIC, Anselmo González Curiel, al gobernador provincial de Barahona, Pedro Peña Rubio, en presencia del viceministro de Obras Públicas Mayobanex Escoto.
Al hacer la entrega, González Curiel destacó que se trata de un gesto de buena voluntad del ministro Del Castillo Savinón, y que busca contribuir a que las familias que perdieron sus viviendas o que las mismas resultaron afectadas, puedan superar la difícil situación por la que atraviesan.
“Hacemos esta humilde entrega en nombre del ministro de Industria y Comercio, José Del Castillo Saviñón, con la finalidad de contribuir a que tanta gente que ha sentido y sufrido los embates de este fenómeno natural, pues reciba el aliento y la solidaridad nuestra”, indicó González Curiel.
De su lado, el gobernador de Barahona resaltó el gesto del ministro Del Castillo Saviñón, y resaltó el hecho de que éste se interesó por visitar la provincia, para percatarse de los daños causados por la tormenta Isaac en la zona.
“Agradezco en nombre del pueblo y las autoridades de Barahona este gesto loable del ministro de Industria y Comercio y ofrezco la plena garantía de que su valiosa contribución, será canalizada adecuadamente de modo que las familias afectadas se beneficien de la misma”, dijo Peña Rubio.
Por su lado, viceministro de Obras Públicas junto al gobernador realiza los levantamientos de las necesidades y urgencias de que precisan cientos de familias humildes que fueron directamente afectadas por Isaac.
