Santo Domingo, RD.- Desde la tarde de este lunes agentes de la Policía serán acuartelados por el llamado a protesta hecho por varias organizaciones populares, para este martes contra la reforma fiscal.
Tras dar a conocer la información, el jefe del organismo, mayor general José Polanco Gómez, refirió que confía en que los convocantes actuarán con profesionalidad y civismo, ya que «la sociedad no aguanta el caos».
Preciso que los agentes del orden que hacen labores preventivas en las calles seguirán patrullando para evitar desórdenes
La jornada de protesta es organizada por la denominada Coordinación Amplia de Todos los Sectores en Lucha, integrado por el Foro Social Alternativo, la Central Nacional de Transportistas Unificados y JUNTAPO.
“La Constitución de la República permite que los ciudadanos se expresen cuando no están de acuerdo con algunas medidas que se tomen, pero que tienen que hacerlo en orden”, admitió Polanco Gómez.
Puntualizó que algunas áreas serán reforzadas, aunque descartó que la sociedad dominicana quiera participar en alteraciones del orden público y choque con las autoridades
